Christina got interested in research on proteins early on in her studies and works on the complex protein network controlling programmed cell death. While being a biochemist by training, she still is very interested in research fields that were not part of her studies. This sparked her interest in science communication which allows her and others to take a deeper look into various fields and to discover the world around them.
